Me at Lake Whitney at the September 2000 swampdive.
Key Largo, May 12-14, 2001
John was down in Miami (South Beach ;-) ) for a job and I found a cheap
ticket so I booked it - can't pass up diving in the Keys... We used
Quiescence like I did last fall.
They have small boats and are real relaxed, just like I want it to be.
We did 4 dives - Molasses Reef, Benwood wreck, Elbow Reef, and Spurs. They are
all real shallow (~30ft) but that fits me just fine - when doing UW video, you
want it shallow (or use lights) to get the best colors. Check out FLKeysDivesites.com
for a description of most divesites in the Keys.
I was feeling a little blue and had the remnants of the flu -
what better thing to do, than some scuba-doo?? (Ouch, that was bad ;-) )

John, with Eric, a half-Swede we met on the boat, in the background.

Molly, Quiescence's resident dog - she loves the water.

And she loves to play in and out of the water

John - Ok, that is the under side of the housing...
|

John - and now I'm holding it up side down and pointing the wrong way...
|

John - am I supposed to hold it like this??? And look into the lens of the camcorder???
|

John - Ok, I guess I looked like a newbie with a camera - let's cover my face so he can't see who I am...
|

John - Ohh, is this how I'm supposed to swim with it???
